Who wore it best? (1)

Hey guys! So today I'm starting a new series on my blog, which will be called Who Wore it Best? You Probably all know what it's about: we have a picture of two celebrities and I'm giving my opinion on who I think wore it best! But first, let me tell you a bit what I'm based on. I don't just look at if it suits the person or if the piece of clothing is pretty or not; I will look at everything from the outfit, to the shoes, to the hairstyle and the accessories, because it's all of those things that form an outfit. So it's all in the final portrait, everything put together.
Today, I'm going to start my first post of these series with Blake Lively vs Selena Gomez.

To me Blake wore it best, here's why: first of all, the blazer does not match Selena's style. We haven't seen her wear stuff like this very often, which matches my next point: when experimenting with things like this (a huge oversized boyfriend blazer), you have to know how to. Since the blazer is oversized, the high boots do not make Selena look very tall. When I look at her outfit, everything in between the boots and the blazer looks kind of squished. In other words, like mentioned, you should make yourself gain some length! Here's what Blake did: she's wearing high heels (first step to looking tall and not squished like lettuce between two slices of bread), plus she tucked her shirt in her leggings. Here's the secret:  tucking your shirt into your leggings/pants = making your pants look longer = longer legs! 

And I do think the leggings look better with the blazer. 

So, I really do love Selena, but this one goes to Blake!
